I am an ordained Priest (interfaith minister) in the non-denominational Order of Melchizedek, which emphasizes helping, healing and teaching. I am legally sanctioned to perform ceremonies and sacraments worldwide, including:
- Weddings (including LGBTQ+)
- Vow renewals
- Commitment ceremonies
- Home blessings
Each ceremony can be as customized as the client wishes. Some opt for a very traditional approach, while others prefer to select their own prayers, readings and ceremonial trappings. I am happy to work with the clients to develop the ceremony that best suits them. I offer a large collection of materials that are appropriate for each ceremony and setting, and welcome any additional pieces the client would like to include. This approach enables each ceremony to be a one-of-a-kind event, be it:
If desired, ceremonies can include specific crystals, brass singing bowls, and/or Reiki-charged candles. I am always open to ideas the client may have about personalizing their service or ceremony.
- Traditional
- Contemporary
- Religious
- Spiritual
- Secular (non-religious)

My Wedding Officiant Philosophy:
Simply Stated: It's your wedding (not mine).
Expanded version:
It’s your day, your ceremony, your way. Religious, spiritual or completely secular – I work with each couple to create a personal, customized ceremony that is right for them. Whether you’re looking for traditional, modern, LGBTQ+, a themed wedding, vow renewal or commitment ceremony, we make it all come together beautifully.
I have an extensive collection from which each couple can make selections based on their preferences. All of these materials are provided to the couple (hardcopy and/or via email) to review at their leisure:
- Ceremonies
- Vows
- Readings
- Blessings & Prayers
- Ways to include others (children, pets, memorializing deceased loved ones, etc.)
- And more.
It’s like an a la carte restaurant menu! Use an entire ceremony as is, or mix and match a paragraph from one ceremony with a paragraph from another. Add your favorite vows, a couple of readings, blessings and/or prayers, and VOILA! Your wedding is totally personalized.
Not interested in creating a customized ceremony? In that case, I'm happy to use a standard version of either a religious (mentions God), or non-religious ceremony (does not mention God), whichever you prefer.
I will also dress for the ceremony to meet each couple’s preferences: a simple suit and blouse, or a suit with clerical collar, or full clerical robes.
